Rumour Records @ The Red Cow, Slough
As well as my work here at nothingspecial, I am a founding partner at Rumour Records.
Rumour Records is a newly founded company solely focusing on providing a full package for local bands – Gigs, Promotions, Recording and Rehearsal. We’re very much in our infancy at the moment, but new opportunities are coming along, and it’s an exciting time for all of us.
Our opening night on the 13th July at The Red Cow, Slough, included performances from:
More shows at The Red Cow are certain, with the next one on the 27th July, and a few other nights around the Slough/Windsor area in the works
Street Photography
My latest indulgence is photography. Armed with my trusty camera, a few lenses, and the experience gained from a few evening college courses, I can often be seen running around snapping pictures of the world passing by.
My current favourite subject to capture is street art. I find the colours to be very dynamic, and with a quick play in Adobe Photoshop I can enhance this even more. I’m also looking to start playing with some event photography at some point, hopefully in the near future.
Should you wish to use any of my photographs, please don’t hesitate and get in touch through the Contact Us page.
Monster Raving Loony Party @ Occupy London
This is a video put together through a collaboration between myself and What’s Next Entertainment, which was intended to be used for the Monster Raving Loony Party’s London Mayoral election campaign. The footage wasn’t filmed by me, but after a lot of hunting through, I found the best bits and popped them together to form this. We didn’t actually publish this to their channel in the end, but it shows what can be done with some old camcorder footage and a few hours work in Adobe Premiere.
As an aside, does anyone else find that St Paul’s looks lonely without the tents there?
