A few photos from my last trip out into London with the camera.
This is a piece which was created whilst on the EDF London Eye. Using my Canon EOS 600D and DSLR Controller Pro for Android, I set a delay of 5 seconds between each photo, and off we went.
The camera was attached to the rail around the side of the pod with a cheap GorillaPod clone, and the lens was touching the glass to minimise reflections from inside the pod.
I had planned to capture the whole rotation, but unfortunately the cable between the camera and the phone disconnected. I have now installed Magic Lantern onto my 600D, so when the weather turns nice again, expect more videos like this.
Colour correction was done in Adobe Photoshop, and the video was put together in Adobe Premiere, with each shot lasting 3 frames, at a rate of 24 frames a second.
My latest indulgence is photography. Armed with my trusty camera, a few lenses, and the experience gained from a few evening college courses, I can often be seen running around snapping pictures of the world passing by.
My current favourite subject to capture is street art. I find the colours to be very dynamic, and with a quick play in Adobe Photoshop I can enhance this even more. I’m also looking to start playing with some event photography at some point, hopefully in the near future.
